Kadlec Neurological Resource Center (KNRC)
KNRC improves the quality of life for those affected by a wide array of neuro disorders.
Established over 30 years ago, this unique resource is the only community-based center
in North America dedicated to education on diagnoses ranging from epilepsy to
Alzheimer’s. KNRC is located in south Richland at 560 Gage Boulevard, Suite 106.
Diabetes Learning Center
The Diabetes Learning Center, 1305 Mansfield Street, Richland, helps clients better
understand diabetes and gain the self-management skills and confidence needed to
live a full life. RNs and dietitians offer training and education in:
• Pre-diabetes assessment
• Understanding the diagnosis, complications and treatment of all types of diabetes
• Balancing medication, exercise and meal planning for blood glucose control
• Home glucose monitoring and meters
• Using oral medications and insulin effectively and safely, including pump therapy
• Pre-pregnancy and gestational diabetes counseling
