Clinics Keep Growing
Formed in 2006, the Kadlec Clinic network now has more than 41 physicians and 26
mid-level providers on staff. Many people first connect with the clinics by calling the
easily remembered (509) 942-DOCS.
Two recent enhancements are the addition of endocrinology (provided by Shannon
Bales, MD) and expanded vascular surgery (Dae Lee, MD). Endocrinologists treat
diseases affecting the body’s metabolism. That includes conditions disrupting the normal
function of the thyroid, pituitary, adrenal glands, hypothalamus, ovaries, testes and the
endocrine system – as well as diseases that change the way the body regulates itself.
Vascular surgery and services include treatment for peripheral vascular disease, carotid
stenosis and endarterectomy, abdominal aortic aneurysm, balloon angioplasty and
stenting procedures for narrowed or blocked arteries, varicose veins, evaluations for
minimally invasive treatments, and staging/management of blood circulation disorders.
